Bangalore is regarded as one of the best legends in Apex, her passive allows her to run faster when being attacked, she has blinding smoke that can disorient her enemies, and last but not least her ultimate lays down a barrage of ballistic missiles that explode a couple of seconds after impact.

Starting off with the most misused abilities in the game. I often see players not utilizing Bangalore’s passive the way it was meant to be used. More often than not, people will get shot at and bring up their scope while looking for the enemy, wasting the passive completely and getting themselves killed. As soon as you see that passive icon pop, you sprint, even if you think you’re in the best possible position, you still need to move.

After all, there’s a reason why you got shot in the first place, being shot at means the enemy is confident enough in their position to move up on you. Either that or they’re total monkeys, you’re welcome to take that 50/50 but don’t be upset if it doesn’t work in your favor.

Next up is the Bangalore smokescreen, another great ability that’s often misused. Never use it offensively.

There are only two scenarios in which you use it offensively, which is if you and your team have digital threats and can see through smoke, or you have a bloodhound who is using his ultimate. Using your smokescreen in a fight offensively without these two things is very stupid and will get you killed.

Another rule is never assume you’re safe in your smoke, one of the last places you wanna be is inside your smoke, unable to see, reviving a teammate or trying to gun someone down, it will not work, only do this in dire situations. This is the one place your enemies will assume you are, and they will hunt for you accordingly.

Use your smokescreen strictly for defense, for example if a teammate is running from a fight and is taking damage, help them out with a smokescreen. You can also throw down a smokescreen to play mind game. If you have a teammate down but they can get to cover, pop a smoke in another direction, behind another rock, another building, anything to throw the enemy off. Even if it doesn’t work, it’s a lot better to try rather then show the enemy exactly where you’re going.

Last but not least, one of the most underrated ultimate abilities in Apex Legends. I’m not claiming Bangalore’s ultimate is the best in the game but it is certainly not as bad as people claim. One of the best ways to use it is to either push people away from you, or towards you, whatever the case calls for.

Most people just say “oh you can walk right out of Bangalore’s ultimate” which is very much the case, however what if it’s thrown behind you, with a bloodthirsty team right in front of you? Then it’s not so easy to run from.

Now that we covered all the tricks with Bangalore let’s make a scenario.

Imagine you and your team get flanked. Don’t turn around, run to the nearest cover, then turn to toss a smoke for your teammates. If you chose to a fight have your teammates get to cover then open fire, if the team stops advancing and you have your ultimate up you need to make a move.

If you think you can beat the team, throw your ultimate just behind them, you want the edge of the missiles to be pressuring them to either move up or take the hits. If the missiles connect into hits, you and your team rush them and take them easily.
